Public Presentation of the HTAD Roadmaps –

In the week of 18 to 22 May 2026, the HTAD Days will take place. Under the leadership of the Bundesministerium für Forschung, Technologie und Raumfahrt (BMFTR), the federal government will present the first drafts of the roadmaps for the key technologies of the Hightech Agenda Deutschland (HTAD) on 10 May 2026. With these technology roadmaps, the BMFTR is presenting, for the first time, integrated planning frameworks for six central key technologies – including Biotechnology, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Quantum Technologies – that are coordinated across ministries and aligned with the states as well as relevant stakeholders from industry and academia. 

The HTAD roadmaps will be presented online during the HTAD Days on 21 May 2026. In a concise session from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., there will be an overview of the structure of the six roadmaps, the milestones, and an outlook on the next steps. The session will be opened by Federal Minister of Technology Dorothee Bär.
