6G Field Tests: A Bridge to Commercialization – From Infrastructure to End Devices

The Bundesministerium für Forschung, Technologie und Raumfahrt (BMFTR) intends to fund projects on the topic of “6G Field Tests: A Bridge to Commercialization – From Infrastructure to End Devices.” The goal is to strengthen the long-term competitiveness of the German economy in the 6G sector, expand ecosystems and test infrastructures, and translate socially relevant innovations into practical applications. It thus strengthens the technological sovereignty of Germany and Europe and builds on the previous successes of research and development in the 6G sector to date.
