Webinar Series provides Insights into Use Cases of the Quantum Internet

How real Quantum Networks improve Security, Privacy, and Efficiency –

The so-called “Quantum Internet” promises novel communication and information systems by leveraging quantum-mechanical properties, offering a higher level of security, accuracy, and efficiency than today’s systems.

Against this backdrop, the Quantum Internet Alliance (QIA) will host a webinar series starting on 11 February 2026, focusing on practical examples of real Quantum Networks. The series will illustrate the current state of the art, recent advances, and concrete impacts of Quantum Networks in practice. The focus will be on use cases ranging from quantum-optimized network management and secure whistleblowing to internet-based SuperGPS, secure clock synchronization using multipartite entanglement, and privacy-compliant document deletion. Each online session will feature presentations by renowned experts from QIA partner organizations, live discussions, and a Q&A session with the audience. Participation in the webinars is free of charge; however, registration is required as places are limited. Click here to register.
